Join us for a special dinner with the awesome Democratic governor of Maryland, Martin O'Malley. Formerly Mayor of Baltimore (on whom the mayor in The Wire is based), Martin O'Malley was named one of Time Magazine's five best American mayors and secured a drastic reduction in crime in one of the nation's largest cities. A discussion with Canon Andrew White, who has acted as a negotiator in many conflict situations in the Middle East, including the siege of the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem and the riots between Muslims and Christians in Northern Nigeria. He coordinates the Alexandria Process, a religious track complimenting the Middle East peace Process. He’s a regular visitor to Baghdad, where he’s worked with both the political and religious leadership.
