I would like to inform our Scholarship and Internship opportunity. Last year we only received one application for the both initiatives and we hope to increase that number significantly this year. Feel free to contact me if you need additional information.

The John F. Scholarship is an awarded every year to one male and one female. The award is $1500 to assist a student towards their higher education financial aid. In a ceremony held at the Massachusetts Democratic State Convention, on Saturday, June 7th, 2008 the awards will be presented. http://massdems.org/internship.cfm..

The Moakley Democratic Internship is awarded every year to one student for an 11-weeks internship during the summer at the State Democratic Party headquarters. The paid internship is $3500 and you will work with a member of the staff to assist the State Party to further its mission and programs. http://massdems.org/internship.cfm..
